1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to No Bill Green Energy Industries ("NoBill", "Company", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at nobill.in and all related services, including solar panel installation, PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy assistance, and maintenance services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NoBill.

2. Definitions

  • "Customer" refers to any individual or entity that engages our Services for solar panel installation or related services.
  • "Solar System" refers to the rooftop solar power plant including solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and all associated equipment.
  • "PM Surya Ghar Yojana" refers to the Government of India's rooftop solar subsidy scheme administered by MNRE.
  • "DISCOM" refers to the local electricity distribution company.
  • "Site" refers to the location where the Solar System is to be installed.

3. Services Offered

NoBill provides the following services:

  • Free site survey and solar feasibility assessment
  • Custom solar system design based on energy requirements and roof specifications
  • PM Surya Ghar Yojana application assistance and documentation support
  • Supply and installation of solar panels, inverters, and mounting structures
  • DISCOM application and net metering setup coordination
  • System commissioning and handover
  • Post-installation maintenance and support services
  • Warranty claim processing and component replacement

4. PM Surya Ghar Yojana Subsidy

NoBill is an authorized vendor under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana scheme. Regarding subsidy claims:

  • Subsidy amounts (up to Rs. 78,000 for residential installations) are determined by the Government of India and are subject to change without notice.
  • Subsidy eligibility is determined by government criteria including but not limited to: residential electricity connection, valid Aadhaar, and property ownership.
  • NoBill will assist in preparing and submitting subsidy applications but does not guarantee subsidy approval.
  • Subsidy disbursement timelines are controlled by government authorities and may vary.
  • Any changes in government policy affecting subsidy amounts or eligibility after installation will not be the responsibility of NoBill.
  • Customers must provide accurate documentation; false information may result in subsidy rejection and legal consequences.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a Customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal, property, and electricity consumption information.
  • Ensure legal ownership or authorization to install solar systems on the property.
  • Provide unrestricted access to the installation site during survey, installation, and maintenance visits.
  • Maintain a safe and accessible rooftop environment free from debris and obstructions.
  • Provide necessary electrical infrastructure including proper earthing and MCB protection.
  • Submit all required documents for PM Surya Ghar Yojana application in a timely manner.
  • Make payments as per the agreed payment schedule.
  • Not tamper with, modify, or relocate the Solar System without written authorization from NoBill.
  • Report any system malfunctions or issues promptly to our customer support.

6. Quotation and Payment Terms

  • All quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
  • Prices are subject to change based on material costs, government policies, and site conditions.
  • A booking advance (typically 10-20% of total cost) is required to confirm the order.
  • Remaining payment is due as per the payment schedule agreed upon in the installation contract.
  • All payments must be made through authorized payment modes (bank transfer, cheque, or approved digital payment methods).
  • GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per prevailing rates.
  • Delay in payments may result in project delays and additional charges.

7. Installation Terms

  • Installation timelines are estimated and may vary based on weather conditions, DISCOM approvals, and site readiness.
  • Standard installation includes rooftop mounting; any civil work, structural modifications, or electrical upgrades are charged separately.
  • NoBill reserves the right to refuse installation if site conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
  • Minor variations in system design may occur based on actual site conditions without affecting system performance.
  • Installation will be performed by trained technicians following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Customer must arrange for water and electricity supply at the installation site during installation.

8. Warranty Terms

Standard Warranty Coverage:

  • Solar Panels: 30 years performance warranty (90% output for 10 years, 80% output for 30 years) and 10-12 years product warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Inverter: 5 years standard warranty (extendable up to 10 years).
  • Mounting Structure: 5 years warranty against structural defects.
  • Workmanship: 1 year warranty on installation workmanship.

Warranty Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to natural disasters (lightning, floods, earthquakes, cyclones beyond rated wind speed).
  • Damage due to fire, theft, vandalism, or accidents.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, tampering, or repairs by third parties.
  • Damage due to negligence, misuse, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines.
  • Damage caused by grid voltage fluctuations or power surges beyond equipment specifications.
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or discoloration.
  • Damage due to exposure to chemicals, salt water, or corrosive environments.

9. Maintenance Services

  • Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) is available for comprehensive maintenance coverage.
  • Regular cleaning of solar panels is recommended for optimal performance (customer responsibility unless covered under AMC).
  • Scheduled maintenance visits will be communicated 48 hours in advance.
  • Customer must provide access, water supply, and ladder (as per specifications) for maintenance visits.
  • Any damage found during maintenance due to customer negligence will be charged separately.

10. Savings and Performance Disclaimer

Savings estimates and generation projections provided on our website and in quotations are based on standard assumptions including optimal weather conditions, roof orientation, shading conditions, and historical solar irradiance data. Actual performance may vary due to factors beyond our control including:

  • Weather variations and climate conditions
  • Grid outages and DISCOM restrictions
  • Shading from new constructions or vegetation growth
  • Soiling and dust accumulation
  • Changes in electricity tariff structures

NoBill does not guarantee specific savings amounts or payback periods. Performance guarantees, if any, will be explicitly stated in the installation contract.

11. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Before Survey: Full refund of any advance payment within 7 working days.
  • After Survey, Before Material Dispatch: Refund of advance minus survey and design charges (Rs. 2,000 - Rs. 5,000 depending on system size).
  • After Material Dispatch: Deductions will apply for material costs, transportation, and any work completed.
  • After Installation: No refund; warranty and service terms apply.
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to nobillgreenenergy@gmail.com.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the NoBill website including text, graphics, logos, images, designs, and software is the property of NoBill or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • NoBill's total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the Services.
  • NoBill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profits, revenue, or data.
  • NoBill shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure events, government actions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • NoBill is not responsible for actions or decisions made by government authorities regarding subsidy applications.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NoBill, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of Services, or violation of any applicable laws.

15. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations.
  • If negotiations fail, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • The seat of arbitration shall be Jaipur, Rajasthan.
  • The language of arbitration shall be English or Hindi.
  • Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any legal proceedings.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. All applicable central and state laws including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Information Technology Act, 2000, and regulations by MNRE and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions shall apply.

17. Changes to Terms

NoBill reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any specific installation contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and NoBill regarding the use of our Services. Any prior agreements or communications are superseded by these Terms.
